Auto Order Placement (Optional)

Automated Order Placement on Your Own MT5 Account

A configuration that performed well in backtesting can be applied to your own MT5 account, with our dedicated EA installed, and placed automatically. Since real funds are involved, we recommend a staged migration.

Run a tested strategy directly on your account

A setting you found through backtesting or Goal Seek can be applied directly to your own MT5 account via a dedicated EA (automated trading program) — no need to rebuild it from scratch each time.

Example: A configuration that backtested well can first be dry-run on a demo account for 1-2 weeks to confirm it places orders as expected, before being applied to a live account with a small position size.

Always migrate in stages

Because real funds are involved, please validate on a demo account or with a small position first before considering applying a strategy to a live account. There is also a non-zero risk of unintended orders due to unexpected market moves or connectivity issues.

Important note

Automated order placement on your own MT5 account involves real funds. This service does not recommend or solicit any specific trade, and is not investment advice. Please use it entirely at your own judgment and responsibility.

How it works: two EAs

  • Reporting EA: sends the MT5 account's balance, positions, trade history and price history to the dashboard.
  • Trading EA: regularly fetches the settings you have started on the dashboard (every 30 seconds by default) and places and closes orders on your MT5 account according to those rules.

Each setting trades under its own magic number, so orders from different settings can be told apart even when several run at once. Position size is specified as a percentage of the account balance.

Checklist before going live

  • Have you checked the same setting's backtest on a different period?
  • Have you confirmed on a demo account that orders are placed at the expected timing and size?
  • Have you calculated the worst-case loss from the position size and stop-loss width?
  • If you cannot leave your computer on, have you prepared a VPS that runs MT5 around the clock?
  • Have you decided how to confirm from the EA log (it regularly shows a "monitoring" line) that it has not stopped?

FAQ

Can I use any broker?

You need an MT5 account at a broker that allows EAs (automated trading). Some accounts restrict automated trading or rapid high-volume orders, so check the trading rules first.

Does it keep running if I close my computer?

The EA runs inside MT5, so orders stop when the computer running MT5 stops. To run 24/7, it is common to run MT5 on a VPS (virtual server).
